WHY EFS Wheels?

From our selective group of suppliers, we believe we have developed the high performing wheelset we set out to create. Since EFS Wheels was launched in October 2020, we have already created a brand we are proud of, a network of ambassadors and our amazing range of customers which is forever expanding. After selling out of wheels early 2021, we knew we have created something that the cycling community love. As a new and unheard of brand, we often get asked why you should choose us, with the advancement of technology and EFS Wheels being up to date with this, we are on the cutting edge of the market leaders. We’d love to explain this a bit below;

How we designed our wheels

Making wheels isn’t easy, especially when launching at the most difficult time during a global pandemic. We have a large network of experts and engineers, from choosing the very best Toray T800 carbon fibre to make our stunning unidirectional weaved carbon rims, to the all import resin which bonds the carbon together, we wish it was that straight forward! Hours of work and countless iterations of design and testing, using new methods of construction and even down to our 4D spoke hole drilling to ensure the load of the spokes spreads in the most optimal way. Why use one drill when you can use 4 different drill heads on a 3-axis drill for optimal spoke bed creation.

Our specially designed moulds ensure that our rims are constructed and produced to the highest standards, allowing for a flawless and seamless carbon bond under immense pressure and heat allows for the strongest bond between the carbon and our secret resin formula allowing for the strongest, yet lightest rims possible.

Bringing our wheels together isn’t straight forward either, hand built to perfection and quality controlled to the highest of standard we know our wheels are going out to our customers ready to ride. Using the highest quality of tools and measuring instruments, our wheels are hand crafted to the highest of standards.

As cyclists ourselves, we know what it's like to have a warranty issue and we'll support customers in every way we possibly can. How are our wheels tested?
